About Us

Transforming the conversation for women’s health

Why we exist (and why now)

Women’s health is finally having a moment—and it’s overdue. In the last few years, the floodgates opened: more research, more funding, more clinics, more tools, more products, more influencers, more opinions.

That progress is real. But it created a new problem: too much noise.

If you’re trying to figure out what’s happening in your body—and what’s actually worth considering—you’re often stuck between:

  • Overly clinical information that doesn’t translate to real life, or
  • Content that’s persuasive, trendy, and biased toward selling something.

RetaHealth exists to do the work most people don’t have time to do: track what’s changing, pressure-test what’s being claimed, and translate it into clear, grounded guidance—so women can make decisions with confidence.

What RetaHealth is

RetaHealth is a women’s health information and navigation site. We help you understand what’s changing in your body—from your 30s through menopause and beyond—and what people are doing about it.

We focus on three things:

Clarity:

plain language explanations that don’t talk down to you

Objectivity:

what’s supported, what’s early, what’s overhyped

Direction:

the options that exist, what they’re for, and what a realistic next step looks like

We don’t tell you what to do. We help you see the landscape clearly so you can decide what fits.

What we cover

We track the full range of what’s shaping women’s health right now—across hormones, metabolic health, sleep, mood, gut health, skin and hair, strength and mobility, heart health, labs and biomarkers, sexual wellness, and longevity.

And we’re not stuck in one camp. We believe the most meaningful outcomes often come from a combination of:

  • Modern tools (medications, diagnostics, devices, clinical programs), and
  • Everyday behaviors (nutrition, movement, sleep support, stress regulation)
Not either/or. Both. That’s the “1+1=3” idea: when medical tools and daily habits work together, results are usually better than either one alone.

What RetaHealth isn’t
  • We are not a clinic, doctor, pharmacy, or supplement brand
  • We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
  • We do not create personalized protocols or “plans”
  • We are not here to sell you a one-size-fits-all method
  • We are not built around fear, shame, or perfection
If you need personal medical guidance, you should always talk to a qualified clinician. Our role is to help you walk into those conversations better informed.

Who we’re for

RetaHealth is for women who want real answers—especially if you’re:

  • Noticing changes in your 30s and want to get ahead of them
  • In perimenopause/menopause and trying to sort signal from noise
  • Post-menopause and focused on strength, energy, heart health, cognition, and long-term vitality
  • Tired of advice that’s vague, extreme, or agenda-driven
You don’t need to be an expert. You just need to want information that’s modern, honest, and useful.

How we handle products, brands, and recommendations

You’ll see us talk about brands, clinics, platforms, tools, and products because that’s part of what women are trying to evaluate. But we approach them differently than most sites.

When we mention something specific, we focus on:

  • What it is and who it’s actually for
  • What it claims vs. what evidence supports
  • Tradeoffs (cost, side effects, effort, monitoring, unknowns)
  • Alternatives (including simpler or more affordable options)
  • What questions to ask before you spend money or time
If something is promising but early, we’ll say that. If something is overhyped, we’ll say that too. The goal is not to “push” you—it’s to give you enough context to make your own call.

Our content promise

RetaHealth is built to be useful. Every piece we publish is designed to answer:

  • What’s going on biologically?
  • What’s common at this stage of life?
  • What’s supported by evidence vs. still unclear?
  • What options exist—medical, behavioral, or both?
  • What’s a realistic next step (including what to ask your clinician)?
No fluff. No lecturing. No vibes-only advice.

Transparency

RetaHealth may include links to products or services so you can explore options. In some cases, we may earn compensation if you choose to purchase through a link. That does not change what we cover or what we say. We care about credibility more than clicks.
